There is no path to training traumatology specialists in Armenia. In the Soviet Europe, traumatologist and orthopedists were one and the same. In the French version of training, a number of physicians of all specialties are brought to training, and taught basic state, so that when a mass casualty event occurs, everyone has a certain level of training. In the American version, a general surgeon goes to a fellowship trained as a traumatologist. This to occur in Armenia, we need to establish a program, pain professionals, and find spots in hospitals for them to assume the role of traumatologist.
